Co-Founded by Elena I. Popp, the Eviction Defense Network (EDeN) is a private non-profit community based organization whose mission is to provide access to justice to all tenants facing eviction in Los Angeles County. Ms. Popp is no longer affiliated with the organization.*

EDeN charges on a sliding fee scale based on your income and rent. Reasonable payment plans are available.

If you think you can’t afford to pay you are dead wrong. The opposite is true. You can’t afford not to pay. You cannot afford to have a judgment for unpaid rent on your record. You cannot afford to have an eviction on your record.

The Eviction Defense Network (EDeN), does not turn anyone away for any reason as long as you seek assistance early enough in the process. If there is a lawyer available to go to court with you
and you are willing to enter into their payment plan arrangements, they will retain your case.

If you have a strong case with good evidence they will put up a good fight.

If your case is weak they will be honest with you and recommend settlement that will put you in the best position possible.
